Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar Examination is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Selection runs through 3 stages: Computer Based Examination — Session I, Computer Based Examination — Session II, Physical tests (Havaldar) and Document Verification.

Passed the matriculation (10th standard) examination or an equivalent from a recognised board on the cut-off date stated in the notification.

Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on ssc.gov.in
Register once with your name, date of birth and contact details, and keep the registration number and password for all SSC exams.
Fill the MTS application form
Log in, open the MTS and Havaldar notice, complete the form, choose the post and upload the photograph and signature to the stated specifications.
Pay the fee and submit
Pay online where applicable or claim the exemption, then submit and save the printout and receipt.
Entry basic pay is Rs 18,000 at Level 1, plus allowances that depend on the city of posting. Confirm the exact figures from the official notification.

Yes. Session I and Session II are held on the same day and both are mandatory. Missing either one leads to disqualification, however well you do in the other.
