About ExamTrack Prep

A preparation site for Bank PO and Railway aspirants, built around one rule: if we cannot cite it, we do not publish it.

Why this site exists

Anyone who has prepared for a bank or railway exam in India knows the problem. Search for an exam date and you get a dozen pages with three different answers, none of them linking to the notification they supposedly summarise. Download a mock test and the interface behaves nothing like the real thing, so the first time you meet sectional timing is on exam day.

ExamTrack Prep is an attempt to fix both. Exam information is stored as structured data with the official source attached to every record, and every page shows the date it was last checked. The mock tests replicate the actual exam interface, including the question palette, sectional locking and negative marking, because the interface is part of what you are being tested on.

How we source exam information

Dates, fees, eligibility, vacancy counts and exam patterns come from the conducting bodies themselves: IBPS, the Railway Recruitment Boards, and the participating banks and zonal railways. An automated check reads the official pages every morning and raises a change for review. Nothing reaches the site until a person has looked at it against the source.

When a fact has not been officially announced yet, we say so. You will see "to be announced" rather than an estimate presented as fact, and dates carried over from previous cycles are explicitly labelled as expected rather than confirmed. This is deliberately less impressive-looking than a page full of confident numbers, and deliberately more useful.

How the mock tests are written

Every question on this site is written in-house to match the official exam pattern: the same section structure, question counts, marking scheme and difficulty spread. We do not reproduce past question papers. In India, examination papers are protected as original literary works and the conducting body owns that copyright, so republishing them commercially is not something we are willing to do, and the courts have consistently rejected the argument that a paper enters the public domain once the exam is over.

What we do instead is more useful anyway. Ourpaper analysis section breaks down what was actually asked in previous years, topic by topic, with weightage and difficulty. That tells you where to spend your time, which a scanned PDF does not. Where a conducting body gives candidates official access to their own paper and response sheet, we link you straight to it.

What it costs

Nothing. The study material, mock tests, current affairs and tools are free. The site is funded by advertising, which is why you will see ad units on article and result pages. You will never see one on a live test screen, because interrupting somebody mid-exam to show them an advertisement is not a trade we are prepared to make.

Corrections

If you find something wrong, please tell us atexamtrackprep@gmail.com and include the official source if you have it. Corrections are made quickly and the verification date on the page updates so everyone can see it was checked. Our full standards are set out in theeditorial policy.
