RSSB Recruitment to the Post of Jail Prahari (Warder) — Prison Department, Rajasthan is conducted by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. Selection runs through 3 stages: Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test (PET and PST), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Educational qualification

Open toClass 10 pass

Passed Secondary (Class 10) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.

Practical knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture are required. Syllabus-level questions are up to Class 10 standard.

  2. Fill the application form

    Complete the Jail Prahari form, choose category and upload photograph and signature to the stated specifications.

  3. Pay the fee and submit

    Pay the OTR/application fee online, submit the form and save the printout for reference.

Is Class 12 required?

No. Class 10 (Secondary) or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification.
