Eligibility

Educational qualification

This is a specialist recruitment, so eligibility is set post by post. A recent Security Officer notice required at least five years as a commissioned defence officer or a gazetted police/paramilitary officer, while a Credit Manager notice required a professional qualification with credit experience. Read the post-wise table in the notice.

20 to 40 years as on the cut-off date in the notification; the band varies by post — for example, roughly 23-35 for the recent Security Officer posts.

How to prepare for Punjab & Sind Bank SO

  • Professional Knowledge is 60% of the written test, so build depth in your specific stream — credit, IT, security and so on.
  • General Awareness rewards current banking, economy and current-affairs notes; revise them weekly.
  • Keep the English section quick and accurate; it is a short 20-question, 15-minute block.
  • Read the post-wise notice carefully, because eligibility, age and even whether a written test is held all depend on the specific post.
  • Prepare interview answers around your domain and experience, since the interview carries a large share of the merit.
