Hard-only sprint: Quantitative Aptitude (25 questions)

For candidates who want only the difficult ones: 25 hard, original Quantitative Aptitude questions on one 30-minute clock, spanning arithmetic, DI, number series and quadratics, with a full worked solution for each.

Before you start

  • One clock of 30 minutes for 25 hard questions — this is a difficulty-only drill, not the real exam ratio.
  • Every question carries one mark and one fourth of a mark is deducted for a wrong answer. Unanswered questions carry no penalty.
  • All questions are original and modelled on the exam pattern; read the worked solution after each attempt.

Quantitative Aptitude · solved example

In each, solve for x and y and give the relation: I. x² − 64 = 0 II. y² + 5y − 6 = 0

  • x > y
  • x < y
  • x ≥ y
  • x ≤ y
  • no fixed relationCorrect

Solution

The roots are x = 8, -8 and y = -6, 1. Comparing every x with every y gives "no fixed relation".

Because a blank carries no penalty, guessing only pays when you can eliminate at least two options. The analysis screen after the test shows you exactly where guessing cost you marks.
