TNUSRB Common Recruitment | Part II — Main Written Examination

TNUSRB Common Recruitment: 16-question main-paper practice mock

A compact TNUSRB main written exam practice mock: 16 original English-medium questions in the official 45:25 GK-to-Psychology ratio (GK 10, Psychology 6), each with a worked solution. No negative marking. Tamil eligibility prep is separate.

Before you start

  • 16 questions in 16 minutes on a single clock — a short drill, not the full 70-question main paper.
  • Each question carries 1 mark with no negative marking, as in the TNUSRB main written examination.
  • Questions follow the official Part II split: General Knowledge 10, Psychology 6.
  • Every question is original, written to the pattern, with a worked solution shown after you submit.
  • Part I Tamil Language Eligibility Test (80 Q, qualifying at 40%) is not covered here — prepare Tamil separately from the official syllabus and model questions.

General Intelligence & Reasoning · solved example

You notice a fellow recruit spreading false rumours about a senior officer during training. The most appropriate first step is to:

  • Join in to fit in with the group
  • Ignore it completely because it is not your problem
  • Calmly advise the recruit to stop and report the matter to the training instructor if it continuesCorrect
  • Confront the senior officer immediately with the rumour

Solution

Uniformed service requires integrity and chain-of-command discipline. Advising the recruit to stop and escalating to the instructor if needed balances correction with proper reporting. Spreading rumours or ignoring misconduct undermines team trust.

Because a blank carries no penalty, guessing only pays when you can eliminate at least two options. The analysis screen after the test shows you exactly where guessing cost you marks.
