PM Vishwakarma: 30-lakh registration target achieved
PM Vishwakarma, launched 17 September 2023, has reached its 30-lakh beneficiary registration target ahead of its third anniversary on 17 September 2026. As of 15 September 2026, over 24.37 lakh artisans received basic skill training and more than 18.16 lakh received toolkits; the scheme also provides credit support, digital incentives and market linkages through GeM, e-commerce and trade fairs. Built around Samman, Samarthya and Samriddhi, it strengthens the Guru-Shishya parampara; beneficiaries are onboarded on the Udyam Assist Platform for formal MSME ecosystem access. PIB
Net Zero Portal and NAPCC Dashboard launched
On World Ozone Day 2026, MoS Environment Kirti Vardhan Singh launched India’s Net Zero Portal and the NAPCC Dashboard in Mumbai. The Net Zero Portal is a centralised platform for voluntary Net Zero commitments by Indian entities — disclosing GHG emissions, declaring targets and reporting annual progress; Scope 1 and Scope 2 reporting is encouraged, Scope 3 remains voluntary. The NAPCC Dashboard consolidates progress across National Missions under the National Action Plan on Climate Change, accessible at https://napccindia.moef.gov.in/, strengthening inter-ministerial monitoring and evidence-based climate action.
