Defence & Aerospace Industry Day 2026 (BITS Pilani Hyderabad)

On 22 September 2026 at BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus, BITS Pilani and Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune signed 20 MoUs (19 with BITS Pilani, 1 with DIAT) with defence/aerospace firms (including Skyroot Aerospace, Paras Defence, Bharat Forge, Zen Technologies, Digantara) and showcased 48 indigenous technologies; theme “Bridging Academia and Industry for Mission-Ready Defence and Aerospace Innovation”; ~45 companies/organisations (DRDO, BEL, HAL, MIDHANI) participated. Health: NFI 2026, ADR-PvPI 2.0, Biovigilance Programme (21 September launch)

On 21 September 2026, Union MoS Health Smt. Anupriya Patel launched the 7th Edition of the National Formulary of India (NFI) 2026 and the ADR-PvPI 2.0 mobile app, and announced Government approval of the Biovigilance Programme of India (Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission to lead), at the 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week (17–23 September 2026); India rose from 123rd to 8th globally in contributions to the WHO patient-safety database; ~1,150 ADR reporting centres operational.
