India heads to the 26th SCO Summit in Bishkek

India is preparing for the 26th SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on 31 August–1 September 2026. PM Modi will first visit Tashkent, Uzbekistan (29–30 August) and then travel to Bishkek, where he is expected to hold a bilateral with Russian President Vladimir Putin and press India’s priorities of Security, Connectivity and Opportunity.
